As with all lightweight carbon bars, lower clamping force reduces the stress on the bar.
Our max recommended torque for the controls is 4 Nm for the stem area (and bar end friendly ends) & 2.5 Nm for the lever controls. Ensure there are no rough edges on stem/controls & tighten stem bolts equally to reduce pinching. As soon as things feel solid, stop tightening.
